HSN Principles

Nutrition should not be complicated. Here are the three principles that guide our simple steps to becoming the healthiest version of yourself.

What are Whole Foods?

Think about what you find around the perimeter of the grocery store.

Fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds and meat.

When eating your meals, start with the veggies first, then eat your protein and save the starch for last.

Balance ⚖️

Every time you make a meal or snack, you want to pair protein, carbs and a healthy source of fat.

Added Sugar

How much sugar do you consume daily?

You might be surprised! The average American consumes over 150 pounds of sugar per year.

The American Heart Association recommends no more than 6 teaspoons for women and 9 teaspoons for men per day.

Be mindful and make sure you read the nutrition facts labels!
